The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow, is set to conduct the written examination for direct recruitment to the posts of civil police constable and equivalent ranks in the Uttar Pradesh Police (Recruitment-2025) on June 8, 9, and 10. In preparation, top police and administrative officials in Prayagraj have finalized all arrangements to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted, and fair examination process.
District Magistrate Issues Directives
District Magistrate (Prayagraj) Manish Kumar Verma has issued a comprehensive set of directives to sector magistrates, static magistrates, centre superintendents, deputy-centre superintendents, and other officials involved in the conduct of the examination. He emphasized that the examination must be conducted with a sense of responsibility and sensitivity, ensuring it remains smooth and free from any malpractice.
Key Instructions for Officials
The DM directed that confidential materials must be received only under CCTV surveillance and in the presence of the static magistrate and centre superintendent. Sector magistrates were instructed to remain active across their assigned centres throughout the examination period. Upon conclusion of the exam, confidential materials must be deposited in a ‘double-lock’ system under police custody via a designated route.
The DM warned that any negligence in this regard would not be tolerated, and strict action would be taken against those attempting to compromise the integrity of the examination. The directives aim to uphold transparency and prevent any unfair practices during the recruitment process, which is crucial for selecting deserving candidates for the Uttar Pradesh Police force.
