Mumbai: The Charkop Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against a woman and her male accomplice for allegedly assaulting a real estate agent following a dispute on the streets of Kandivli (West) recently. The incident occurred on the night of May 16, when the complainant was returning home on a motorcycle with his friend.
Details of the Incident
Around 9:30 PM, at Ekta Nagar, the complainant noticed a woman along with a few male companions creating a disturbance on the road, thereby blocking the path. When the complainant requested the group to move aside, one of the men responded with abusive language. The situation quickly escalated into a heated altercation.
Physical Assault and Theft
During the confrontation, the man forcibly pulled the complainant off his motorcycle and began beating him. In a shocking turn of events, the woman allegedly attacked the complainant with a chopper, striking him on the head and causing profuse bleeding. Following the assault, both the woman and her male associate snatched the victim's gold chain and fled the scene.
The injured real estate agent was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he received five stitches on his head to treat the wound. The Charkop police subsequently registered an FIR against the duo based on the complainant's statement. Investigations are underway to apprehend the suspects.
This incident highlights the growing concerns over street crime in the area. The police have urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities immediately.
