A 19-year-old woman employed as a security guard at a girls' hostel in Greater Noida allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the hostel building on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Parul, wife of Suresh Chaudhary and a native of Meerut. She was found critically injured and rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead, officials said.
Police Investigation Underway
According to the police, information regarding the incident involving the hostel's security guard was received at the Knowledge Park police station. Officials stated that, prima facie, it appears to be a case of suicide arising out of a domestic dispute between the husband and wife. Police inspected the scene, carried out necessary legal formalities, and sent the body for post-mortem examination after inquest proceedings were completed. Further investigation into the matter is underway, the police said.
