Addressing journalists at the party's state office in Raipur, AAP state vice-president and human rights lawyer Priyanka Shukla presented members of the affected families who shared their harrowing experiences. Shukla revealed that the party had formed a dedicated fact-finding team that visited Dutkaiya village on February 24 and 25 to document the situation firsthand.
The allegations presented by AAP leadership include:

Victims who spoke at the press conference described how seriously injured men had to be transported to hospitals in Rajim and Raipur using private means. The party further alleged that several victims required prolonged medical treatment, with the substantial financial burden of healthcare costs being borne entirely by the families themselves and their supporters.

Police authorities confirmed they have registered a formal case and launched an investigation into the February 1 violence in Dutkaiya village under Rajim police station jurisdiction. Officials stated that investigative teams have recorded statements from affected families and witnesses, collected preliminary evidence from the scene, and are examining video clips, photographs, and other material that emerged following the incident.
"All allegations raised, including claims of arson, assault, and misconduct with women, are being thoroughly examined as part of our comprehensive investigation," a police officer explained. "At this preliminary stage, we are verifying every claim. Appropriate legal sections will be applied based on concrete evidence, medical reports, and witness statements."
Security Measures and Community Assurance
Law enforcement officials emphasized that Dutkaiya village remains under continuous surveillance, with authorities prepared to respond firmly to any attempts to incite hatred or trigger fresh tensions.
