AAP Slams BJP After Court Orders Removal of Atishi Video

The Aam Aadmi Party delivered a sharp rebuke to the Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday. This came after a Jalandhar court ordered the removal of a video clip featuring senior AAP leader Atishi. AAP Punjab president Aman Arora described the court's decision as a significant blow to the BJP.

A Calculated Conspiracy Exposed

Aman Arora did not mince words in his reaction. He stated that the BJP's lies, deceit, and malicious intentions were once again completely exposed. "Over the past few days, BJP tried to spread outright lies," Arora asserted. He accused the party of falsely linking Atishi's name to an alleged insult of revered Gurus in the Assembly.

"This was a calculated conspiracy," the AAP leader claimed. He said the intent was to hurt the religious sentiments of the people of Punjab and to deliberately disturb communal harmony in the state.

Not the First Time for BJP Propaganda

Arora emphasized that this was not an isolated incident. He reminded everyone of previous controversies. "Earlier too, forensic investigation clearly proved that videos circulated by Kapil Mishra and other BJP leaders were completely fake and doctored," he said.

He pointed out that these videos were shared by BJP's allied partners, including the Congress and the Akali Dal. Despite knowing the truth, he alleged, they continued to spread these fabricated videos.

Court's Categorical Ruling

The Jalandhar court's order was definitive. Arora highlighted that the court categorically ruled the videos as fake, fraudulent, and nothing but deception. The court directed their removal from all social media platforms.

"This clearly proves that, to keep its hollow and petty politics alive, BJP can stoop to any level," Arora stated. He accused the BJP of using the most disgraceful lies for political survival.

Demand for Public Apology

Aman Arora issued a direct demand following the court order. He called for an unconditional public apology from all those who shared and promoted the fake video.

"I believe BJP leaders, along with leaders of Congress and Akali Dal who shamelessly shared this fake video, must apologise to the people of Punjab," he said. Arora asserted that these leaders tried to play with the faith of Punjabis for narrow political gains.

He concluded by saying the court's order had completely unmasked their conspiracy. The AAP's strong reaction underscores the ongoing political tensions in Punjab, where allegations of misinformation continue to fuel debates.
