Akhilesh Yadav Launches Scathing Attack on UP Government Over Multiple Failures
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav delivered a forceful critique of the Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday, accusing it of "playing with the future of the youth" by failing to generate adequate employment opportunities. Addressing party workers and functionaries at the SP headquarters in Lucknow, Yadav highlighted that a substantial number of educated young individuals remain jobless due to governmental shortcomings.
Healthcare and Education Systems in Disarray
Expanding his criticism, Yadav blamed the state administration for the severe deterioration of healthcare and education services across Uttar Pradesh. He emphasized that impoverished citizens are struggling to access timely medical treatment, essential medicines, and reliable ambulance services when urgently required.
Targeting recent health department inspections, the SP leader asserted that while healthcare infrastructure has effectively collapsed, ministers are merely "putting up a show" during the concluding phase of the Yogi Adityanath-led government's second term. He further questioned the closure of numerous primary schools and challenged the government's genuine commitment to educating underprivileged children.
Allegations of Corruption and Stalled Development
Yadav also levied serious accusations against the BJP government, alleging a deliberate halt to developmental projects statewide. He charged the administration with promoting corruption, engaging in commission-taking practices, and misusing public funds for political gains rather than public welfare.
Positioning for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Elections
With an eye on the upcoming 2027 state assembly elections, Akhilesh Yadav confidently stated that the public has become fully aware of the BJP's "wrongdoings" and is prepared for a significant political change. "The BJP will be wiped out in the assembly elections," he proclaimed, positioning the Samajwadi Party as the necessary alternative.
He asserted that an SP government is essential to guarantee employment for youth and ensure the welfare of farmers. Outlining his party's agenda, Yadav promised to promote industries and strengthen both the agricultural and manufacturing sectors to accelerate comprehensive development.
"UP witnessed genuine development during the SP government's tenure. If voted back to office in 2027, the state will once again move rapidly on the path of progress," he added, drawing a contrast with the current administration's record.

In a separate segment of his address, Akhilesh Yadav extended warm Navratri greetings to the people, wishing them happiness, prosperity, and well-being. He described the festival as conveying a powerful message of harmony, goodwill, and purity within society.
Highlighting the spiritual significance of Navratri, Yadav noted that worshipping the various forms of Goddess Durga symbolizes deep reverence for feminine power. He portrayed the Goddess as the embodiment of collective strength and an enduring source of inspiration in the ongoing fight against injustice, oppression, and societal wrongdoing.
