Amit Shah Brutally Mocks Tejashwi's Job Promise & Rahul's Voter Yatra in Patna Rally | Bihar Elections
Amit Shah Mocks Tejashwi, Rahul in Bihar Rally

Union Home Minister Amit Shah delivered a blistering critique of opposition leaders during a high-voltage election rally in Patna on Thursday, targeting RJD's Tejashwi Yadav over his employment promises and taking sharp jabs at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's ongoing voter rights campaign.

Shah's Scathing Attack on Tejashwi's Employment Promise

The senior BJP leader questioned the credibility of Tejashwi Yadav's ambitious promise of providing 10 lakh government jobs, reminding the audience of what he called "failed guarantees" from previous RJD regimes. "Those who couldn't provide even 10,000 jobs during their tenure are now making grand promises of 10 lakh jobs," Shah declared to roaring applause from the crowd.

He emphasized that the BJP-led NDA government has consistently worked toward creating employment opportunities through various schemes and infrastructure projects, contrasting this with what he described as the RJD's "empty rhetoric."

Mocking Rahul Gandhi's Voter Rights Campaign

In a particularly biting segment of his speech, Shah didn't spare Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, sarcastically referring to his ongoing 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' across Bihar. "While we're busy with development yatras, some people are on voter rights yatras," he remarked, suggesting that the Congress leader was engaging in political tourism rather than substantive work.

The Home Minister questioned the timing and intent behind Gandhi's campaign, implying it was merely an election-season gimmick rather than a genuine concern for voter rights.

Confident NDA Position in Bihar Elections

Shah expressed strong confidence in the NDA's performance in the upcoming Bihar elections, citing the development work and stability brought by the coalition government. He urged voters to compare the "lawlessness" of the RJD era with the current "development-oriented governance" under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

The rally, which saw massive turnout, is seen as a significant push by the BJP to consolidate its position in key constituencies ahead of the crucial state elections.

Political analysts suggest that Shah's aggressive positioning indicates the BJP's strategy to directly counter opposition narratives while highlighting the central government's achievements in the state.
