Amravati: Revenue minister and Amravati guardian minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule convened a meeting with 48 corporators at the Yuva Swabhiman Party's Shankar Nagar office on Friday evening. He issued clear instructions for them to vote for Mahayuti's official candidate Pravin Pote in the Maharashtra Legislative Council polls.

Bawankule Emphasizes Zero-Error Voting

Bawankule stated that the MLC election is crucial for Mahayuti and directed every vote to be cast for Pote. He stressed the importance of zero-error voting and urged corporators to strictly follow the mandate to ensure a decisive victory.

Ravi Rana Cites Direct Orders from CM

Badnera MLA Ravi Rana said he was acting on direct orders from chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and Bawankule. He told the gathering, 'Every single corporator must meticulously cast their vote for Mahayuti candidate Pravin Pote. We will fight as one unit.'

Navneet Rana Appeals for Unity

Former MP Navneet Rana also appealed to the corporators, calling Pote's victory vital for strengthening Mahayuti. Later, Bawankule, Ravi Rana, and Navneet Rana held a closed-door meeting to finalize booth-level planning, voting procedures, and post-meeting strategy. Sources said the trio reviewed every aspect of poll management to avoid cross-voting.

All-Out Push by BJP and YSP

The meeting signals an all-out push by BJP and Yuva Swabhiman Party to secure Pote's win. All 48 corporators present pledged united and committed support to Mahayuti's leadership and resolved to work for Pote's victory.

With YSP's 48 corporators openly backing Pote and BJP's top district leadership in active command, the Mahayuti camp projects confidence of a big-margin win in the upcoming MLC election.

Also present at the meeting were MLA Pravin Tayde, BJP district president Raviraj Deshmukh, YSP mentor Sunil Rana, Jayantrao Wankhade, Bhatkuli Nagar Panchayat chairperson Yogita Kolteke, deputy mayor Sachin Bhende, group leader Nana Amale, Education Committee chairperson Priti Rewane, and others.
