The dinner was served on white plastic plates, but a significant challenge emerged immediately: there was hardly any place to sit and eat comfortably. For many, the only available spots were footpaths, stone barriers, and the steps of shops that had shut for the day. They ate quickly, knowing they had to return to their posts by 8 pm for a long night ahead.
