Bhilwara police arrested a 21-year-old man on Tuesday after a case was registered alleging he raped a 17-year-old girl and pressured her to change her religion in the Kotwali police station area.
Accused Identified
The accused has been identified as Sultan Khan. Bhilwara police confirmed that he is being interrogated, and City Deputy SP Sajjan Singh is investigating the conversion-pressure allegation, which includes an allegation against a religious leader.
Complaint Filed by Father
Kotwali police station in-charge Shivraj Gurjar said the girl's father filed the complaint. According to the report, the accused created a fake social media ID, befriended the minor, called her to meet, made obscene videos, and later revealed his real name.
Police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
