Bhopal Man Dies by Suicide After Video Call to Wife

A 32-year-old government school employee allegedly died by suicide at his residence in the Ratibad area of Bhopal. The incident occurred late Thursday night after the man made a video call to his wife and informed her of his intention to take the extreme step.

Incident Details

According to police, the deceased, identified as Bhavesh Patel, a resident of Neelbad, was employed as a peon at a government school. His wife had recently traveled to her parental home in Indore along with their two children. During the video call, Bhavesh reportedly showed his wife a noose and told her he was going to end his life. Alarmed by the call, the woman immediately contacted her brother-in-law and her husband's friends.

Response and Discovery

Family members and friends rushed to Bhavesh's house but found the main door locked from inside. After forcing entry, they discovered him hanging in a room. He was brought down immediately, but by the time relatives reached him, he had already died. Ratibad police were informed, and the body was sent for post-mortem examination. No suicide note was recovered from the scene.

Investigation Underway

Police stated that the exact reason behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained, and further investigation is ongoing. Bhavesh is survived by his wife, a five-year-old son, and a one-year-old daughter.
