A tragic incident unfolded in Bhopal's Chhola Mandir area on Sunday evening, where a 20-year-old man lost his life after being stabbed during a dispute over a minor bike collision. The police have apprehended all three accused, including the main suspect.

Victim and Accused Identified

The deceased has been identified as Ajay Lodhi, a resident of Raslakhedi locality, who worked at a private establishment. According to investigators, Ajay had an old rivalry with Deepak Thakur, a resident of Sabri Nagar in Bhanpur area.

Sequence of Events

On Sunday evening, members of a wedding party arrived in Raslakhedi for a religious ritual, and Deepak was also present. Around 7:30 pm, Deepak's motorcycle allegedly collided with Nitin Lodhi, causing injuries to him. Upon learning of the incident, Ajay confronted Deepak over the matter. The police stated that the accused allegedly threatened Ajay before leaving the spot.

Shortly thereafter, the two groups encountered each other again in Raslakhedi, leading to an altercation. During the clash, Deepak allegedly attacked Ajay with a knife, inflicting a severe wound to his stomach. Ajay collapsed on the spot and was rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment on Monday morning.

Legal Action

The police have registered a murder case and are conducting further investigations. All three accused have been taken into custody.
