Bihar Deputy CM Vijay Sinha Chairs Comprehensive District Review Meeting in Bhojpur

Deputy Chief Minister and Bhojpur's minister-in-charge, Vijay Kumar Sinha, presided over a crucial district-level review meeting on Monday in Ara. The session focused on evaluating the progress of various government initiatives and departmental performance across the region.

During the meeting, District Magistrate Tanai Sultania presented a detailed report on ongoing government schemes and departmental advancements. Deputy CM Sinha conducted a thorough review of all departments, issuing clear, time-bound directives to concerned officials.

Emphasizing urban cleanliness and its effective implementation, Sinha instructed the municipal commissioner to ensure strict sanitation measures across hospitals, bus stands, markets, and other vital public areas. He mandated continuous monitoring through CCTV cameras and stressed the importance of regular garbage collection and disposal.

Crackdown on Illegal Activities and Encroachments

Addressing disorder in urban zones, Sinha declared, "Launch a crackdown on illegal hoardings and unauthorized parking on municipal land. Permissions must be granted only after payment of prescribed fees," while warning of substantial penalties for violators. He ordered joint anti-encroachment drives to be conducted by SDM and municipal officials.

Taking a firm stance against land mafia operations, the deputy CM directed officials to identify encroachers and implement strong measures to safeguard public interest. On revenue matters, he instructed that all pending cases be resolved within established deadlines, emphasizing that "hearings of land disputes must be ensured at the circle office-level."

Infrastructure Development and Project Timelines

Reviewing road construction projects, Sinha instructed executive engineers from the road construction and rural works departments to complete all assignments on schedule while maintaining uncompromising quality standards. Under the Namami Gange initiative, he directed accelerated construction of Mokshdhams in Barhara and Shahpur.
