Kyavater stated, "The negligence displayed by the authorities is unacceptable. Farmers in this region have been cultivating paddy with limited water resources, often struggling due to inadequate irrigation facilities for a second crop. This breach has compounded their hardships."

Furthermore, Kyavater highlighted significant delays in the official assessment of the affected areas. He alleged that officials from the revenue and irrigation departments have yet to complete a thorough and proper survey of the damage. He has urgently appealed to the authorities to:
