BJP expels eight members in Ambala for anti-party activities

The Bharatiya Janata Party has expelled eight of its members in Ambala, including workers and ticket aspirants, for engaging in anti-party activities during the campaigning for the Ambala City municipal corporation elections.

Expulsions announced by district president

BJP's Ambala district president Mandeep Rana issued a press release stating that contesting elections against the authorised party candidates by some workers or applicants was a serious offence that amounted to anti-party activity. He emphasised that party discipline is paramount and such actions are unacceptable under any circumstances.

List of expelled members

The expelled workers include Sahil Sharma and Aman Sharma from ward 3; Ravinder Gupta from ward 5; Krishan Kumar Lathwal from ward 15; Prem Bhatia, Daljit Bhatia, and Aseem Agarwal from ward 18; and Sanjay Lakra from ward 19.

Rana stated that as directed by the state president, these individuals are expelled from primary party membership and all positions for a period of six years, effective immediately.
