Titabor Constituency Details
Titabor is a key legislative segment in the Jorhat district of Assam. It remains a general (unreserved) constituency. For the 2026 assembly election, there were a total of 2,00,514 registered voters on the electoral rolls. Among them, 96,801 were male, 1,03,713 were female, and none belonged to the third gender.
Previous Election Results
In the 2021 Assam assembly elections, the Titabor constituency had 1,56,559 registered voters, with 1,21,575 valid votes cast. Congress candidate Bhaskar Jyoti Baruah won the seat with 64,303 votes, while BJP candidate Hemanta Kalita finished second with 50,924 votes, losing by a margin of 13,379 votes.
In the 2016 assembly elections, Titabor had 1,36,227 electors, with 1,13,504 valid votes recorded. Congress candidate Tarun Gogoi won the seat with 62,025 votes, defeating BJP candidate Kamakhya Prasad Tasa, who secured 44,530 votes. The victory margin was 17,495 votes.
