BJP State President Rathore Announces Imminent Political Appointments in Rajasthan
BJP's Rathore: Political Appointments in Rajasthan Soon

Bhilwara: BJP state president Madan Rathore on Tuesday announced that political appointments in Rajasthan would be made shortly, asserting the party's readiness for Panchayati Raj and civic body elections whenever the Election Commission schedules them.

"If the Election Commission announces elections today, we are ready to enter the electoral fray," Rathore stated in Bhilwara, where he addressed enlightened citizens and later interacted with the press.

Regarding political appointments, Rathore noted that several boards, including the Finance Commission and Devnarayan Board, have already been constituted. "We have sent the list now. There has certainly been a slight delay, but now political appointments will be made soon," he explained.

Rathore rejected Congress allegations concerning the delay in local body and Panchayati Raj elections. "The allegations Congress is making about elections are baseless. BJP is not afraid of elections; we won 62 by-elections. With what face does the Congress talk?" he questioned.

"Conducting elections is the work of the Election Commission; we have nothing to do with it. Conducting elections is not BJP's work, nor are we stopping these elections. The matter is between the election commission and courts," he added.

Rathore also indicated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may visit Rajasthan in the first week of July to inaugurate the refinery. "At present, production has already started," he mentioned.
