DMK candidate M Thiagarajan, accompanied by Senthil Balaji's brother Ashok Kumar, campaigned actively alongside TVK's VP Mathiazhagan. Kumar made ambitious claims about the DMK's prospects, stating, "All four MLAs representing Karur will be elected from the DMK party.
