Telangana Chief Minister Reaffirms Commitment to Muslim Welfare at Official Iftar Gathering
In a significant address during the holy month of Ramzan, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Sunday provided firm assurances to the Muslim community regarding their welfare, declaring it a foremost priority for the Congress-led state government. The Chief Minister spoke at a government-hosted Iftar event held at the LB Stadium in Hyderabad, attended by numerous dignitaries and community leaders.
Emphasis on Unity and Development Amid Global Tensions
Revanth Reddy underscored the critical importance of maintaining religious harmony and collective progress, urging citizens to remain vigilant against divisive forces attempting to sow discord between communities. "We are all brothers and should live together in religious harmony. Together, we can develop Hyderabad, Telangana, and the entire country," the Chief Minister stated emphatically.
He connected local aspirations with global concerns, noting the ongoing conflict in West Asia and calling for prayers for world peace. "Ramzan is the holy month of spiritual purification. A war is taking place in West Asia. Pray for world peace and also for the success of the Congress government to make Hyderabad and Telangana a model for the country on the development front," Revanth Reddy articulated, blending spiritual reflection with civic responsibility.

The Chief Minister provided concrete examples of the government's dedication, revealing that Muslims are receiving a lion's share in welfare schemes and official appointments. He detailed several high-profile positions granted to community members, demonstrating tangible inclusion.

Furthermore, Revanth Reddy cited the establishment of Young India integrated school campuses and the implementation of a 4% reservation in educational institutions as evidence of the administration's proactive measures. He emphasized that substantial financial allocations are being directed toward the community across all government initiatives.

Positioning himself as a familial figure, the Chief Minister declared, "This is your government and I am your brother. The government is seeking your blessings."
