Sonipat: Naveen, the 32-year-old son of Santosh Kadiyan, who serves as the state general secretary of the Congress women's wing, allegedly died by suicide at his residence in Sonipat late Thursday night. Police officials reported that Naveen's body was discovered hanging in a room on the upper floor of the house. He was immediately rushed to the civil hospital, where medical professionals declared him dead upon arrival. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

Initial investigations suggest that Naveen had been battling diabetes for some time. Additionally, he had lost his job in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, approximately two and a half months ago. Naveen is survived by his wife and two daughters, aged 11 years and two and a half years.

Family's Account

According to family members, Naveen was deeply involved in managing his mother's election campaign. On Wednesday, he worked late into the night installing campaign banners and posters, returning home around 4 am on Thursday. They stated that he continued assisting at the campaign office throughout the day and appeared to be in a normal state, showing no visible signs of distress or unusual behavior.

Mother's Statement

Santosh Kadiyan expressed shock and disbelief over the incident. She stated that there was no domestic dispute or immediate trigger that could explain such an extreme step. "He was actively supporting my campaign and seemed normal. We are unable to understand why he took such a step," she said.
