The details of this reorientation will be finalized during the party's three-day 12th conference, scheduled to be held in Darbhanga starting May 16.
According to a press note released by the party on Sunday, the issues were thoroughly discussed at its two-day state committee meeting, which began on Saturday. The meeting was attended by key party leaders, including CPI(ML) general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, senior functionary Swadesh Bhattacharya, state secretary Kunal, MP Rajaram Singh, MLC Shashi Yadav, and other senior functionaries such as Dhirendra Jha and Meena Tiwari.
Preparations for the Conference
The party also reviewed the preparations and activities of various committees established to ensure the success of the three-day Darbhanga conference. These committees are tasked with logistical arrangements, mobilization of supporters, and dissemination of the party's message.
Key Decisions Expected
The 12th conference is expected to take key decisions on the programmes and strategies to be implemented in the state. This includes a focus on grassroots mobilization, addressing socio-economic issues, and strengthening the party's organizational structure.
The conference comes at a time when the CPI(ML) perceives a critical situation in the country, requiring a renewed ideological and strategic approach. The party aims to consolidate its base and expand its influence in Bihar and beyond.
