In a significant operation, the Uttar Pradesh Police gunned down notorious criminal Bhanu Pratap Singh, widely known as Bablu, in an encounter in Ayodhya on Tuesday. The encounter also left two police personnel injured, who are currently receiving medical treatment.

The criminal was killed on the spot, while two policemen sustained injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital.
