Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ayodhya, Shailesh Pandey, confirmed the encounter and stated that the police had received a tip-off about the criminal's movement. He added that the injured policemen are stable and their condition is out of danger. The police also recovered a cache of weapons, including an AK-47 rifle, from the spot.
