Dal Khalsa chief spokesperson Kanwar Pal Singh reiterated the group's decision to abstain from electoral politics under the current framework. However, he urged political parties still participating in the system to unite in opposition to the BJP's expansion in Punjab. Singh specifically called on various factions of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) to set aside internal differences and present a united front to effectively challenge the BJP's influence.
