The injured individuals have been identified as Santosh, aged 34, from Pachakkad, Kunnumpuram, and his wife Keerthi, aged 28. They were traveling from Kottoor to Kuttichal when the deer jumped across the road, causing the motorcycle to lose balance and throwing both riders onto the pavement.
Local residents rushed to the scene after hearing the impact and cries for help. They promptly shifted the couple to a private hospital in Kattakkada for medical treatment. Hospital sources reported that Santosh sustained serious injuries, while Keerthi is in stable condition.
