Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta Unveils BJP's One-Year Report Card Outreach Initiative

In a significant move to connect with citizens, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced on Monday the launch of a week-long outreach programme aimed at presenting the BJP government's one-year report card. She emphasized that the first year of the administration was dedicated to altering the city's direction, while the upcoming four years will focus on transforming its overall condition.

Campaign Kickoff in North East Delhi Lok Sabha Constituency

The campaign commenced from the North East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency, represented by MP Manoj Tiwari. Gupta, alongside Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, initiated this effort to highlight the government's accomplishments since the BJP ended a 27-year exile from power by winning the assembly election in February 2025.

The outreach will span all seven Lok Sabha constituencies in Delhi, each currently held by the BJP, and is scheduled to continue until March 1. This initiative aims to provide a transparent account of the administration's work over the past year.

Key Achievements Highlighted by Chief Minister Gupta

In her address, Gupta detailed several milestones achieved under her leadership. She stated, "In the past one year, the government worked to give Delhi a new momentum and a new direction through transparent administration, a corruption-free system, rapid infrastructure development, digital governance, and welfare-oriented schemes."

She further elaborated that the administration prioritized instilling new confidence in Delhi by addressing the interests of diverse societal segments, including the poor, workers, women, youth, and the middle class.

  • Reconstitution of the Trans Yamuna Development Board with an allocation of Rs 700 crore.
  • Launch of 70 Atal Canteens offering full meals at just Rs 5.
  • Introduction of single-window permissions for festivals such as Chhath, Diwali, and Kanwar Yatra.

Support from BJP Leaders and Additional Initiatives

MP Manoj Tiwari underscored the implementation of the Ayushman Yojana in Delhi, which provides free medical treatment up to Rs 10 lakh. He remarked, "There is a government in Delhi that is committed to resolving even the smallest problems of the people. In the coming time, you will all say that Delhi is changing."

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva reinforced the government's commitment, noting that ministers are available at the Delhi BJP office every Saturday to address citizens' grievances. He emphasized, "The BJP government is working among the people and understands that improving Delhi is its duty."

This outreach campaign serves as a platform to showcase the BJP's efforts in governance and sets the stage for future transformations in the national capital.
