Dimple Yadav Condemns 'Double Engine Govt' for Essential Service Queues in Jalaun
During a visit to Jalaun, Mainpuri MP Dimple Yadav launched a sharp critique against the ruling "double engine government," accusing it of compelling citizens to endure long queues for basic necessities. The Samajwadi Party leader highlighted the persistent struggles faced by the common man, drawing parallels to past hardships.
Allegations of Government Insensitivity and Public Suffering
Dimple Yadav asserted that from the demonetisation era to the present day, the administration has consistently failed to alleviate public distress. "While the government claims adequate LPG stock, the ground reality reveals a stark contrast," she stated, emphasizing the difficulties in procuring gas cylinders.
Referring to the ongoing wedding season, Yadav pointed out that shortages, black marketing, and escalating prices have compounded the woes of ordinary families. "Corruption and unemployment have reached unprecedented levels in the state," she alleged, adding that the BJP-led government has merely exacerbated queues and suffering.
Historical Context and Ongoing Issues
Yadav recalled the 2016 demonetisation and the Covid-19 pandemic as previous instances where people were forced into lines at banks and hospitals. "Now, they face similar queues for gas cylinders," she remarked, criticizing the government's perceived insensitivity to public problems.
On agricultural concerns, the MP noted past complaints about fertiliser black marketing and accessibility issues for farmers. She warned that a comparable situation is emerging with gas cylinders, with rising inflation further straining household budgets.
Controversy Over UP Police Exam and Community Engagement
Addressing the controversy surrounding the use of the word 'Pandit' in the UP Police Sub-Inspector recruitment exam, Yadav urged senior Brahmin community leaders to vigorously raise the issue with the government.
During her Jalaun trip, Yadav attended the fourth mass marriage conference organized by the Katheriya community as the chief guest. She blessed newlywed couples and paid tribute to Kanshi Ram on his birth anniversary, underscoring her engagement with local traditions and social causes.
Yadav's remarks reinforce ongoing political debates about governance and public welfare, highlighting persistent challenges in essential service delivery under the current administration.
