DMK chief M. K. Stalin has officially unveiled the party's first candidate list for the highly anticipated 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. This announcement marks a significant milestone in the state's political landscape as parties gear up for the electoral battle.

His son and Deputy Chief Minister, Udhayanidhi Stalin, has been fielded from the Chepauk–Triplicane constituency, signaling the party's confidence in the next generation of leadership.

- O. Panneerselvam will contest from Bodinayakkanur
- V. Senthil Balaji has been nominated for Coimbatore South
- Ramanathan will represent the party in Thanjavur
- E. V. Velu has been fielded from Tiruvannamalai
- Ma. Subramanian will contest from Saidapet
- Mahesh has been nominated for Kanyakumari
- Wahab will represent DMK in Palayamkottai
- K. K. S. S. R. Ramachandran has been fielded from Aruppukottai
