Former Nagamangala JD(S) MLA Suresh Gowda sustained injuries in a serious car accident on Saturday night near Bonthekoppalu in Mandya taluk. The incident occurred after the vehicle he was travelling in overturned, causing partial damage to the car and injuring all four occupants.

According to Basaralu Police, the accident happened while Gowda was returning from attending a marriage function at Vasgove Koppa in Maddur. The driver lost control of the car, resulting in it flipping over completely. The vehicle suffered significant partial damage in the mishap, though it remained intact enough for rescue operations to proceed.
Injuries and Immediate Response
Suresh Gowda was travelling along with three other individuals, and all four occupants sustained injuries in the accident. Gowda suffered a specific injury to his hand, while the driver also sustained notable injuries. Soon after the vehicle overturned, the former MLA's gunman quickly alerted the police, enabling a swift response.
