Former Bihar Minister's Wife Survives Terrifying Highway Collision
The wife of former minister Neeraj Kumar Singh Bablu had a harrowing escape on Monday when her SUV was involved in a serious collision on the Mokama-Bakhtiyarpur four-lane highway. The incident occurred near Dahaur village in Patna, as she was traveling from Patna to Mokama accompanied by her driver and a security guard.

According to reports, a cement-laden tractor suddenly attempted to cross the road, leading to a direct crash with the SUV. The impact caused significant damage to the vehicle, but miraculously, all occupants emerged unscathed. The tractor driver fled the scene immediately after the accident, abandoning the vehicle at the spot.
Police from Barh swiftly responded to the scene, where they managed traffic, seized the tractor, and initiated a search operation to locate the absconding driver. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the reckless driving that led to this near-fatal incident.
Major Drug Bust in Mokama: 390kg of Marijuana Seized
In a separate but significant development, police in Mokama conducted a successful raid on Monday, resulting in the seizure of a massive 390 kilograms of marijuana. Acting on specific intelligence regarding a large consignment, a specialized police team cordoned off the area and executed a thorough search of the premises.

The recovered ganja is estimated to be worth several crores of rupees in the international market, highlighting the scale of the operation.
