Fatehabad DFSC Launches Helpline and Appoints Nodal Officers to Combat LPG Black Marketing
In a decisive move to curb the rampant issues of black marketing, hoarding, and misuse of LPG cylinders, the District Food and Supplies Controller (DFSC) in Fatehabad has implemented a comprehensive strategy. The initiative includes the appointment of nodal officers across the district and the establishment of a dedicated helpline for residents to lodge complaints.
Strengthening Vigilance and Enforcement
DFSC Kushal Boora has directed officials to maintain strict vigilance in their respective areas and ensure prompt action on all complaints related to LPG irregularities. This directive aims to enhance accountability and streamline the enforcement process. Officials have been instructed to submit periodic action reports, ensuring continuous monitoring and follow-up on all cases.
Helpline for Public Complaints
To facilitate easy reporting, residents can now lodge complaints by calling the helpline number 01667-230773. The helpline is operational on working days from 9 am to 5 pm. An employee has been specifically assigned to record complaints and forward them to the concerned authorities, ensuring that each grievance is addressed efficiently.
Strict Action Against Negligence
DFSC Kushal Boora emphasized that strict action will be taken against any official found negligent in enforcing these directions. This warning underscores the administration's commitment to eradicating malpractices and ensuring the fair distribution of LPG cylinders to the public.
The measures are expected to significantly reduce illegal activities and improve the availability of LPG for legitimate consumers in Fatehabad.
