Flexis Targeting BJP MP Eatala Rajender Surface in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Flexis targeting Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament Eatala Rajender surfaced at several locations in the city on Sunday, triggering a political controversy. The BJP's Telangana unit stated that its leader was being deliberately targeted by political rivals.

Flexis with Critical Messages Appear Across City

The flexis, which appeared at multiple locations, carried messages critical of Rajender and quickly drew the attention of party workers and local residents. The posters featured slogans claiming that Eatala had not accomplished anything since joining the BJP, except for forming factions and encouraging groupism within the party.

BJP Lodges Complaint with Police

The BJP Telangana unit lodged a formal complaint with the police, demanding a thorough investigation into the appearance of these posters in the Kukatpally area. BJP Telangana chief N Ramachander Rao condemned the campaign, describing it as a deliberate attempt to tarnish the image of one of the party's prominent leaders in the state. The saffron party demanded that the authorities identify those responsible for erecting the flexis and take appropriate legal action against them.

Allegations of Political Motive

BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind alleged that the posters were part of a politically motivated effort to create confusion among party workers and mislead the public. He asserted that such tactics were aimed at undermining the party's growing influence in Telangana.

Party leaders highlighted that Rajender had consistently raised public issues and questioned the state government on matters concerning farmers, unemployment, and governance. They alleged that the criticism reflected political discomfort with his increasing influence in Telangana politics.

BJP Urges Cadre to Stay Focused

The BJP also urged its cadre not to be distracted by what it termed "cheap political tactics" and affirmed that the party would continue its programmes and outreach activities across the state. The party remains committed to its agenda despite such provocations.
