Four Lives Lost in Devastating Car Crash in Kinnaur District
A tragic road accident in the Bhawanagar sub-division of Kinnaur district resulted in four fatalities and one injury on Saturday morning, sending shockwaves through the local community. The incident occurred around 7 am on the Jani link road near Bhawanagar, where a car traveling from Tapri to Jani suddenly lost control and plunged into a deep gorge.
Details of the Victims and Immediate Aftermath
At the time of the accident, five individuals were inside the vehicle. Four of them—Himesh Kumar (19), Krishna (42), Sushma (47), and Indra Lal (30)—succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The sole survivor, Vidya Krishna (32), sustained injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment at a local facility.
The bodies of the deceased have been transported to the primary health centre in Tapri for a postmortem examination to ascertain the precise causes of death. Bhawanagar DSP Rajkumar confirmed that a formal case has been registered, and a thorough investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances that led to this heartbreaking event.
