Guwahati: The Gauhati High Court has designated Additional Advocate General of Assam, Parangam Narayan Goswami, as a senior advocate, marking a significant milestone in his legal career.

Goswami, who began practicing law in 2002, has handled a wide range of criminal and civil cases in both the Gauhati High Court and the Supreme Court of India. Over the years, he has served as senior standing counsel for several key government departments, including excise, public health engineering (PHE), forest, and irrigation.

This recognition places Goswami among a select group of lawyers entrusted with the responsibility of assisting the court in matters of significant public importance. It further strengthens his role in shaping Assam’s legal landscape.
