The incident followed a heated argument at home concerning her excessive use of a mobile phone, highlighting growing concerns over digital addiction among youth.

Family's Account of the Incident

According to family members, Jyoti Kumari, daughter of Sunil Yadav, had been frequently counselled to limit her screen time and focus more on her studies. Her relatives expressed ongoing worries about her prolonged cellphone usage, which had led to multiple reprimands in the past.
