The Bharatiya Janata Party's Bihar unit is gearing up for a historic and elaborate reception to welcome its newly appointed national working president, Nitin Nabin, during his first visit to the state capital next week. The announcement was made by senior party functionaries on Friday, outlining a series of celebratory events planned for December 23.
A Historic Welcome for the National Leader
State BJP president Sanjay Saraogi confirmed that Nitin Nabin will arrive in Patna on December 23. This marks his first visit to the capital since he assumed the crucial role of the party's national working president on December 14. Saraogi expressed the immense excitement among the party cadre, stating that all workers are eager to accord a warm and grand welcome to their leader.
Nitin Nabin, a five-term Member of the Legislative Assembly from the Bankipur constituency, brings a wealth of organizational experience. He has previously served as the chief of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha's state unit and also held the responsibility of being the party's in-charge for Chhattisgarh. His recent elevation to a national position is a significant moment for the Bihar BJP.
The Grand Roadshow and Itinerary
The centerpiece of the welcome will be a massive roadshow organized upon Nitin Nabin's arrival at Patna airport. According to the detailed plan shared by Sanjay Saraogi, the procession will commence from the airport and travel via Nehru Path, culminating at the Hanuman Mandir in Rajvanshi Nagar.
During this journey, Nitin Nabin will offer prayers at the Hanuman Mandir, seeking blessings for the prosperity of Bihar and the strengthened unity of the party organization. The entire route is set to be adorned with BJP flags, banners, and posters to give the city a festive look.
"Welcome programmes will be organized at various points on Bailey Road by our dedicated party workers, allied social organizations, and enthusiastic citizens," added Saraogi, highlighting the inclusive nature of the event.
Felicitation Ceremony and Strategic Message
Following the roadshow, a grand felicitation ceremony will be held in honor of Nitin Nabin at the Miller School Ground. This event is expected to witness the participation of senior BJP leaders, public representatives, office bearers, and a large gathering of party workers from across the state.
Sanjay Saraogi emphasized that the ceremony will serve a dual purpose. While its primary aim is to welcome the national working president, it will also be a platform to convey important messages regarding the party's upcoming strategy and focus on organizational strengthening in Bihar.
The state president asserted that this Patna program will be historic in scale and spirit. He believes it will powerfully demonstrate the BJP's strength, cohesion, and the deep connection between its leadership and the grassroots workers in the state.
