Haryana CM Attacks Congress, INLD at Jind Rally, Touts BJP Achievements

Haryana Chief Minister Launches Scathing Attack on Opposition at Jind Rally

In a fiery address at a 'Dhanyawad' (thanksgiving) rally in Uchana Kalan, Jind district, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini launched a blistering critique against the Chautala family, former Union Minister Birender Singh, and the Congress party. He accused them of prioritizing vote acquisition over genuine public welfare, setting the tone for a politically charged event organized by local BJP MLA Devender Chaturbhuj Atri.

Contrasting Development Records and Allegations of Neglect

Saini highlighted a stark contrast in developmental spending, asserting that the BJP government has invested a substantial Rs 1,000 crore in the Uchana Kalan segment over the past eleven years. In sharp comparison, he claimed the Congress party allocated only Rs 300 crore during its tenure from 2005 to 2014. "The people must recognize how the Congress neglected this constituency despite ruling the state for a full decade," Saini emphasized, urging voters to reflect on these disparities.

Targeting Political Rivals and Their Alleged Decline

Echoing remarks from cabinet colleague Krishan Bedi, the Chief Minister took a pointed jab at Abhay Chautala and the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), using a local idiom to suggest the Chautala family has lost its political footing. He further lambasted the Congress, stating that voters have completely rejected the party in recent elections, leaving it in a state of shock and unable to recover. "In the upcoming elections, the Congress will be entirely wiped out; the party is finished and has no place in the hearts of the people," Saini declared confidently.

Accusations of Anti-Youth Policies and Misinformation Campaigns

Saini accused the Congress of attempting to halt recruitment results before elections, alleging anti-youth motives. He countered by detailing his administration's efforts, including ensuring 25,000 youths received job appointments promptly. "I prioritized their joining over my own oath-taking, fulfilling my promise to the youth," he stated. Additionally, Saini criticized the Congress for spreading misinformation, particularly regarding central government initiatives like the Viksit Bharat – G Ram G scheme, which increased MGNREGA employment guarantees to 125 days with an allocation of Rs 1,51,282 crore to combat corruption.

Critique of Congress-AAP Alliance and Highlighting BJP Schemes

The Chief Minister also targeted the Congress-Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) alliance, referencing their joint contest in Kurukshetra during the Lok Sabha elections, where he claimed the public delivered a decisive lesson. He contrasted unfulfilled AAP promises in Punjab with BJP's 'Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana' in Haryana, which provides Rs 2,100 in financial assistance to women and girls, benefiting over 9.22 lakh individuals with Rs 634 crore disbursed so far.

Showcasing Employment and Development Initiatives

Saini underscored his government's commitment to transparent governance, revealing that 36,000 youths were given government jobs in the last year without recommendations or bribes, totaling 1.80 lakh jobs over eleven years. The rally also featured the inauguration of development works worth Rs 103 crore in Uchana Kalan, including foundation stone layings for several projects, symbolizing the BJP's focus on tangible progress.

The event was attended by prominent figures such as Deputy Speaker Krishan Midda, Minister Krishan Bedi, and Cabinet colleague Ranbir Gangwa, reinforcing party unity. Saini's speech blended sharp political attacks with a showcase of administrative achievements, positioning the BJP as a pro-development alternative to what he described as the opposition's failed policies.
