Haryana CM Vows to Fulfill All Sankalps by 2029

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday asserted that his government is committed to fulfilling every 'sankalp' (resolve) made to the people of the state by the year 2029. Addressing a public gathering in Ambala, Saini outlined the progress on various developmental projects and welfare schemes launched under the current administration.

Development Agenda and Welfare Schemes

The Chief Minister highlighted that the state government has been working tirelessly to ensure the implementation of all promises made during the election campaign. He noted that significant strides have been made in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and agriculture. Saini stated, 'Our government is dedicated to the all-round development of Haryana. Every sector is being given due attention, and we are on track to achieve all our targets within the stipulated timeframe.'

Key Initiatives Under Focus

  • Infrastructure: Several road widening projects and new flyovers have been approved to ease traffic congestion in urban areas.
  • Healthcare: The government has established new primary health centers and upgraded existing facilities to provide better medical services to rural populations.
  • Education: Initiatives like free textbooks and scholarships for underprivileged students have been expanded to improve literacy rates.
  • Agriculture: Farmers are being provided with subsidized seeds and fertilizers, along with timely procurement of crops at minimum support prices.

Opposition Criticism and Government Response

Responding to criticism from the opposition parties, Saini asserted that the allegations of unfulfilled promises are baseless. He challenged the opposition to point out any specific promise that has not been acted upon. 'We have a clear roadmap and a timeline for every project. The opposition is indulging in negative politics without understanding the ground realities,' he said.

The Chief Minister also announced that a special review meeting would be held every month to monitor the progress of all flagship schemes. He urged the citizens to participate actively in the development process and provide feedback to the administration. 'Your suggestions are valuable to us. Together, we will make Haryana a model state in the country,' Saini added.

The event was attended by several senior party leaders and local dignitaries. The Chief Minister also interacted with the public and listened to their grievances, assuring them of prompt action.
