Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has urged the people to vote out the Congress party in the upcoming civic and panchayat elections. Addressing a series of public meetings, Thakur criticized the current state government for its alleged failures in development and governance.
Thakur's Campaign Trail
Thakur, who is also the Leader of Opposition in the state assembly, has been touring various districts to rally support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He accused the Congress-led government of corruption, mismanagement, and neglecting the welfare of the people. "The Congress government has failed to deliver on its promises. It is time for the people to show them the door," Thakur said.

During his speeches, Thakur highlighted several issues, including the delay in payment of pensions, lack of proper roads, and inadequate healthcare facilities. He also pointed out the alleged irregularities in the implementation of central schemes. "The state government is not utilizing funds properly. People are suffering due to their inefficiency," he added.

Thakur appealed to the electorate to support BJP candidates in the civic and panchayat polls. He emphasized that only a BJP-led administration could ensure transparency and development. "We have a proven track record of good governance. Vote for the BJP to bring positive change," he urged.
