JD(U) leader Nishant Kumar to begin 'Sadbhav Yatra' from May 3

Patna: JD(U) leader Nishant Kumar has announced a statewide 'Sadbhav Yatra' to be conducted in phases, beginning with a two-day stay in Bagaha, West Champaran district, from May 3. During this tour, he will engage with grassroots workers alongside local MPs, legislators, and party functionaries, with the aim of shaping the future direction of the state's politics.

Second Leg in Vaishali

The second leg of the yatra is scheduled for May 7 in Vaishali district. Party state president and MLA Umesh Singh Kushwaha informed reporters at the party headquarters on Tuesday, 'We will announce the schedule of each tour in advance.'

New Direction for State Politics

Kushwaha stated that the yatra is intended to give 'a new direction to the conditions and politics of the state.' He was accompanied by senior leaders including Sanjay Kumar Gandhi, Lalan Kumar Sarraf, Rajiv Ranjan Prasad, and Neeraj Kumar. Kushwaha added that he, JD(U) legislature party leader Shrawan Kumar, and other senior leaders would attend meetings addressed by Nishant.

'The times are changing in the state, and a new era is about to dawn. The new leader is already around to give a new direction to the three or four-decade-old politics of the state,' Kushwaha remarked.

Excitement Among Workers

'Today, entire Bihar is looking up to the new leader, who can take all sections with him along the path of development, social harmony, and good governance, just as his father and JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar did. There is palpable excitement among the people and party workers. Nishant carries in him the 'sanskar' given by his father,' Kushwaha said.

Kushwaha further noted that Nishant has chosen Champaran as the starting point, following his father's footsteps, and the yatra vehicle bears the slogan 'Nyay Ke Saath Vikas' (Development with Justice).
