Jharkhand Government Celebrates First Anniversary with Massive Job Drive

The Hemant Soren-led government in Jharkhand is set to commemorate its first year in office with a grand ceremony at Morabadi ground in Ranchi on Friday, where over 8,000 appointment letters will be distributed to job aspirants. The celebratory event marks a significant milestone for the administration that came to power with a landslide majority for JMM.

Focus on Women Empowerment and Job Creation

Chief Minister Hemant Soren, speaking to reporters in Ramgarh district on Thursday, emphasized his government's commitment to women empowerment and job creation. "After taking office last year, our government worked hard to empower women in the state," Soren stated. "While this will continue, our focus will be on creating more jobs in coming days to pursue our vision of Viksit Jharkhand."

The CM highlighted that apart from the flagship Maiyya Samman Yojana, several welfare schemes are being implemented to strengthen both the village economy and women. "We are working to make half the population stand on their feet. Today our women are becoming self-reliant by making use of government schemes," he added.

Comprehensive 25-Year Development Plan

Soren revealed ambitious plans for the state's future development, mentioning that more than 10,000 youths will receive appointment letters during Friday's program. "Not only government jobs but our focus is to make people employable through various means," he explained.

The government is working with a comprehensive 25-year action plan designed to position Jharkhand at par with major cities and states in terms of sustainable development. "In the coming times, our priority is to prepare action plans for different sectors and transform Jharkhand into one of the leading states of the country," Soren affirmed.

During his visit to Ramgarh district, the Chief Minister paid homage to his grandfather, Sobaran Soren, at Shahid Sthal in Lukaiyatand. Sobaran Soren was killed on November 27, 1966, adding a personal significance to the district visit.

Elaborate Security Arrangements for Anniversary Event

Authorities have made extensive preparations for the anniversary celebrations at Morabadi ground. On Thursday, Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri along with Senior SP Rakesh Ranjan and other officials conducted final inspections and delegated responsibilities for the smooth conduct of the event.

"Magistrates and police personnel have been deputed for smooth conduct of Friday's programmes," Bhajantri confirmed. "Everyone has been briefed about maintaining law and order, crowd management, parking, emergency routes, and VVIP movement."

The security measures include a three-tier security system with drone surveillance, CCTV monitoring, and deployment of quick response teams. Traffic diversion plans have also been prepared to manage the expected large gathering at the venue.

The anniversary celebration represents a significant moment for the Hemant Soren government as it seeks to demonstrate its achievements in job creation and outline its vision for Jharkhand's future development trajectory.
