Kapra Bank distributes 10,000 clothes in Prayagraj slums

Prayagraj: Volunteers of Kapra Bank on Wednesday distributed around 10,000 clothes among children and women at slums near Parade area in the city. The initiative aimed to provide warm clothing to those in need, especially as winter approaches.

Distribution Drive Led by Teacher

The volunteers, led by primary school teacher and head of Kapra Bank, Alok Kumar Singh, arrived at the slums in the city and set up stalls to distribute clothes among children, elderly, and women. The event saw a large turnout of residents who eagerly received the garments.

Motivation Behind the Effort

Speaking about the drive, Alok Kumar Singh said, “Our motive is to provide clothes to those who are in need and cannot afford it.” He emphasized that the organization plans to continue such charitable activities in the future to support underprivileged communities.
