Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan has asserted that administrators are not above criticism, adding that constructive criticism aimed at the progress and welfare of the state should be welcomed. He made these remarks while speaking at the 140th anniversary celebrations of the Malayalam daily 'Deepika'.

Addressing the gathering, Satheesan emphasized the importance of a healthy democratic culture where those in power are open to scrutiny. He stated that criticism, when offered with the intent of improving governance and public service, is essential for the growth of the state.

The Chief Minister highlighted that no administrator, regardless of their position, is infallible. He called for a robust system where feedback from the public and media is taken seriously. Satheesan noted that such an approach would lead to better policy-making and implementation.
