The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) has announced the appointment of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) observers across 40 organisational districts in the state. Among them are former Members of Parliament V S Ugrappa and S P Muddahanumegowda, who bring extensive political experience to the role. Additionally, Guarantees Implementation Authority Chairman H M Revanna, Professor M V Rajeev Gowda, Mansoor Ali Khan, MPs Priyanka Jarkiholi, E Tukaram, Sunil Bose, and MLC Ramesh Babu have been appointed as observers. Their diverse backgrounds are expected to contribute to the party's organisational overhaul.

The SIR observers are tasked with reviewing and revitalising party structures at the district level.
