In a significant administrative reshuffle, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) Managing Director Akram Pasha has been transferred. IAS officer Selvamani R, a 2013-batch officer who was appointed as the Managing Director of the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) last week, will now hold the concurrent charge of KSRTC MD as well.
New Leadership at KSRTC
Selvamani R, known for his administrative acumen, will oversee both the BMTC and KSRTC operations. The move is aimed at streamlining transport services across the state. Akram Pasha, who served as KSRTC MD, has been reassigned to a new role, details of which are awaited.
