KTR slams Congress govt as 'flop', accuses of deceiving farmers in Telangana
KTR slams Congress govt as 'flop' in Telangana

Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) on Saturday declared the first half of the Congress government's rule in Telangana as a complete 'flop', accusing it of failing across all sectors. He claimed that the Rythu Bandhu scheme has been turned into 'Rahul Bandhu', and farmers are facing hardships due to power cuts, lack of fertilisers, and delays in crop procurement.

KTR's Allegations Against Congress

Speaking at party workers' meetings in Vemulawada and Sircilla, KTR accused the government of thoroughly deceiving farmers under the guise of 'deductions'. He said farmers have been reduced to standing in long queues at fertiliser shops, reminiscent of old days. He alleged that while farmers suffer from a shortage of gunny bags for paddy procurement, bags of money are being sent to Rahul Gandhi.

Call for Vigilance Against Bogus Votes

The BRS working president accused both the BJP and Congress of attempting to win elections through bogus votes. He urged party workers to stay alert and identify and remove fake and duplicate votes. KTR also suggested that a Census should be conducted every ten years, in line with population growth.

He expressed confidence that people are ready to defeat Congress and bring BRS to victory in the upcoming elections.
