AAP Leader Manish Sisodia Visits Patiala Temple on Navratri, Reviews Renovation Progress
Aam Aadmi Party's Punjab affairs incharge, Manish Sisodia, visited the Mata Shri Kali Devi Temple in Patiala on Thursday, marking the first day of Chaitra Navratri. He paid obeisance at the temple and reviewed the ongoing renovation works, emphasizing the shrine's national significance.
Prayers and Ceremonies for Peace and Prosperity
Accompanied by his family and Punjab's Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Balbir Singh, Sisodia offered prayers for peace, prosperity, and progress. He performed a havan ritual and extended Navratri greetings to the devotees present at the temple. The visit highlighted the spiritual importance of the occasion, with Sisodia focusing on humility in religious service.
Review of Temple Renovation with Local Officials
During the visit, Sisodia, along with Minister Balbir Singh, Patiala Mayor Kundan Gogia, and Deputy Commissioner Varjeet Walia, took stock of the renovation work at the temple. He stated that the development works are expected to be completed by the next Navratri, ensuring the temple's preservation and enhancement for future devotees.
Emphasis on Humility in Religious ServiceSisodia emphasized that no individual should claim credit for building temples, as service and devotion are central to Sanatan Dharma.
