Keshav Maurya Predicts Akhilesh Yadav's Defeat in 2027 UP Elections
Maurya Says Akhilesh's Dreams Will Shatter in 2027

Prayagraj: Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Thursday asserted that the 'daydreams' of Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav will be shattered in the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, and he will be sent packing back to Saifai. Addressing a party gathering, Maurya said, 'If the people of West Bengal cast their vote fearlessly, the BJP is poised to achieve a historic victory in their state assembly polls.'

Strong Warning to SP

Maurya further stated that the primary agenda of the Samajwadi Party is to sow discord within society. He emphasized that under the current regime in Uttar Pradesh, no crime against women will go unpunished and stern action will be taken against offenders. 'Akhilesh is consumed by the anguish of being out of power, and he will remain so all the way up to 2047—regardless of whether he contests elections alone or in alliance with the Congress or any other party,' Maurya added.

SP Accused of Jeopardizing Security

The Deputy Chief Minister accused the Samajwadi Party of jeopardizing the security of Uttar Pradesh and leading to a mass exodus of people from the state. He warned that SP's policies could destabilize the region and harm its development. Party workers present on the occasion included Mrityunjay Tiwari, Pawan Srivastava, and Vivek Mishra.

Maurya's remarks come amid growing political tensions ahead of the 2027 state elections, with both the BJP and SP gearing up for a fierce contest. The BJP has been in power in Uttar Pradesh since 2017, and Maurya's confident tone reflects the party's optimism about retaining the state.
