Mohan Bhagwat: Wars Happen Due to Refusal to Share Resources

Mohan Bhagwat, the chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), stated in Mysuru that wars occur because of human needs and the unwillingness to share resources. Speaking at an event, Bhagwat emphasized that real development comes from creating material prosperity, ensuring equitable distribution, and curbing consumerism.

Bhagwat's Remarks on Wars and Sharing

Bhagwat remarked, "Wars happen due to needs, because we refuse to share what we have." He elaborated that conflicts arise when individuals or nations hoard resources instead of distributing them fairly. The RSS chief called for a shift in mindset towards collective well-being and sustainability.

Call for Limiting Consumerism

He further said, "Real development takes place by creating material prosperity, abundance, and ensuring justified distribution, by limiting consumerism." Bhagwat urged society to focus on responsible consumption and to prioritize the needs of the less fortunate.
