During the block period, all Up and Down Trans-Harbour line services will be suspended between Vashi/Nerul and Thane stations. In related news, Central Railway conducted a special overnight traffic and power block on the Main line from midnight to 10 am. This work focused on extending platforms at Thane and Dombivli stations to accommodate 15-coach rakes, enhancing capacity for suburban and long-distance trains. The block led to the cancellation of suburban services and impacted the schedules of long-distance trains passing through Thane, adding to the day's travel challenges.
