Naidu Slams Jagan's 'Petty Theft' Remark on Tirumala Parakamani Case
Naidu Condemns Jagan's Remarks on Tirumala Parakamani Theft

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu launched a fierce critique against his predecessor, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, on Saturday. The attack centered on Reddy's recent comments regarding the sensitive Tirumala Parakamani theft case, which Naidu labeled as deeply offensive to millions of devotees.

Blasphemous Remarks Draw Sharp Rebuke

During an informal interaction with reporters, Naidu expressed profound dismay over Jagan Mohan Reddy's characterization of the Parakamani incident as "petty theft." The Chief Minister asserted that such statements reveal a blatant disregard for divinity, a lack of respect for the faith of Lord Venkateswara's devotees, and a concerning indifference towards the sanctity of temples.

Naidu stated that Reddy's comments had shocked the public and severely wounded the sentiments of countless believers. He questioned the ethical standing of a former chief minister who could make such arguments, emphasizing that returning stolen money does not absolve the sin of stealing from the divine.

Drawing Parallels and Vowing Law & Order Crackdown

In a pointed remark, Naidu referenced other serious allegations against the YSRCP leader. "The individual who allegedly tried to 'settle' even his own uncle's murder also attempted to settle the sacred Tirumala Parakamani theft. What could be more atrocious?" Naidu questioned. He accused Reddy of trivializing the sacred offerings made by devotees, an act condemned by people across regions and political lines.

Shifting focus to the state's law and order situation, Naidu addressed the recent murder of a young CPI(M) worker in Nellore. He declared that there would be no compromises in maintaining peace and security. The Chief Minister blamed the previous YSRCP regime for allowing rowdy elements to flourish, transforming once-peaceful regions like Nellore and Vizianagaram into crime hubs.

"Have we ever heard of 'lady dons' in places like Nellore before? Who fostered such a culture?" Naidu asked rhetorically. He assured that the new NDA government is committed to cleaning the system and will deal with rowdy-sheeters and ganja gangs with an iron fist.

Progress on Capital and Education Initiatives

On a more positive note, Chief Minister Naidu provided updates on key development projects. He reported positive outcomes from recent meetings with farmers regarding the second phase of land pooling for the state capital, Amaravati. Naidu stated that farmers are cooperating fully, which has helped gain momentum in the capital's construction pace, with issues being resolved systematically.

Furthermore, Naidu highlighted the success of the "Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting" initiative in the education sector. He noted that the changes being implemented in the state's education system are already delivering encouraging results in schools across Andhra Pradesh.
